人生、急ぐばかりが能ではない。

Life is travel, and travel is life.

The bullet train is fine, but perhaps the best part of traveling is taking it easy, even stopping at every station on a slow local train, taking in and enjoying the scenery around you, taking a deep breath and filling your chest with fresh air.

Life is no different. You can’t hurry life. Indeed, there might be times when you have to hurry, but rushing is not the only way to go. If you hasten too much, you risk losing sight of what is vital in life.

In travel and life, let us not be in a hurry. Enjoy them.

人生は旅。旅は人生。

新幹線もいいけれど、ときには鈍行列車に乗って田舎で各駅停車をしながら周りの景色を眺め、新鮮な空気を胸いっぱいに吸い込んで、の～んびりする、というのも旅の醍醐味。

人生も同じ。生き急いでもしかたがない。たしかに急がねばならぬ時もあるだろうけど、急ぐばかりが能ではない。急ぎ過ぎると人生における大切なものを見失ってしまう危険性がある。

旅も人生も焦らずに。のんびり行こうよ、愉しみながら。
